Mopar SRT Oil Filter (5038041AA)

This Mopar replacement oil filter was originally designed for the Dodge Viper, but due to its better filtering characteristics, it is also used on other vehicles that use the factory oil filter with part number 4884899AC. In addition to the better filter material, the internal bypass is designed to open later than on the 4884899AC oil filter.
Thus, the engine oil is basically better filtered.

Note: Although this oil filter has better characteristics than the 4884899AC oil filter, it is officially approved for the Dodge Viper only.
Even if you can install it without hesitation from a technical point of view, we cannot make any statement about how the manufacturer will evaluate it in the event of a warranty claim.
